Carrara objects in DAZ Studio?

Hello all,

I'm a DAZ Studio user, and I accidentally bought a music stage which is for Carrera. It's a really awesome set, so I looked around to see if it could interoperate, but it looks like that's not possible.

Am I correct about not being able to use this in DAZ Studio? I really like the set, so I thought it was worth asking more experienced users.

    you can return it if under 30 days

    otherwise buy Carrara maybe, it is an awesome program

    not it will not work in anything else BTW

    Thanks for your response.

    I downloaded a free trial of Carrara from CNET and have been able to convert objects from the stage to OBJ, which I then imported into DAZ Studio. Seems okay so far. The fancier features presumably won't work after the export and re-import, but if they're just plain props, I can live with it.

    So apparently it's "kind of" possible, if you have Carrara.
