I was playing with the mill horse and each time I try to get rid of the forelock the whole horse disappears I saved this as a scene file because of the trouble I had dressing him up....like when you click on the head to select it and then chose the headgear and put fit to mill horse it throws it above his head am I doing something wrong again...I left him in the zero pose???

If you tried to delete the forelocks, then yes, the whole horse will be deleted. It's all one figure. To hide the forelocks, you can set their opactiy to 0 in the surfaces tab.
As far as the headgear concerns, was it made for the Millenium Horse ? If it's a Horse2 headgear, it won't fit nicely on the mil horse as they are different figures.
