V4 Morph to G2F Figure - how?

Hey guys,

I would like to know if there is a possibility that morphs from V4.2 to get to Genesis 2 Female?
I seem to remember that it was possible with the Morph Loader, to get the V4.2 Morph to the Genesis Character,
before Gen-X came out. A friend told me that, also.

But how does that worked?
Can someone help me out?

It's great to have a product that transfers the materials, but it must be possible to transfer the morphs, also?

thanks
balivandi

    Good Morning!
Have you checked out MallenLane's Victoria 4 for Genesis 2 Female product?
    http://www.daz3d.com/new-releases/victoria-4-for-genesis-2-female

It has the Head and Body morphs along with the UV Mapping and a clone for the auto-fit as well.

    @Elliandra: Good Morning :)

yeah I know the product and bought that.
The question is, when I want to use an V4 Character like Ivy by VH at renderosity.

I want to set the Ivy Morphs to the Genesis 2 Female Char. I think there are a possibilty - but
I dont know remember how the morphloader works

Ahhh those morphs! I am not familiar enough with morph loader to help on this one I'm afraid. I did find a post in one of the DAZ Studio Discussion threads though. It's for V4 morphs to Genesis not the Genesis 2 Female but the principle should still be the same.

    Hope this helps!

What I have done with somewhat decent results is load Genesis2F and Fit to Genesis-(unsupported figure-bodysuit-tight)(now Hide your Genesis figure- just turn off the eye in the sceen tab) This conformes G2F to Genesis and it will auto-follow all of your Genesis dials and morphs. Then with Gen-x I have access to all of my V4 morphs too. Now you can use both Genesis and G2F dials to morph your G2F. I haven't had a chance to play with it very much yet- the most obvious glitch is it literally causes the G2F eyes to roll back into her head so the eyes have to be manually pointed.

I used this process for this image to use some V4 breast morphs on G2F, -(had been messing around with render settings and did this image in a rush so- don't think the poor image quality is a result of the conforming process and I didn't take the time to get the eyes pointed correctly.

Just tried that but how does one get the (unsupported figure-bodysuit-tight) option to show? All I see are Fit To Genesis and Fit To None when I load 'em up.

I went back to try it again and it doesn't give the options any more- I think I was wrong and it just gives those "auto fit options" when I do the same thing with V4.

So you just have to take G2F and Fit to Genesis, and hide Genesis- The eyes roll back and I also forgot that the jaw gets clenched too tight- you have to move that back into place too.

Thanks, will try again later when I'm a bit more awake. Have you gotten any of the male morphs to work doing it that way? I tried Basic Male when I did that but could not get rid of the boobs.

To get rid of the boobs set your basic female dial to -1 on the parameter settings and maybe other female shapes too- spin the dials till you get close to the basic genesis shape, then apply your male shapes.

I just tried it out and got a useable male shape with the following dial settings. Basic Female at + 0.71 ,Stephanie 5 curvy body -1, Stephanie 5 model body -0.40 and Both Michael 5 and Michael 5 Hero set to 1.0
