Can't change username or password for the forum?

Hi, I've just started using the forum, and I find that the administrator doesn't let the username be changed, but I see other people using tag names and I'm just stuck with my regular name, which is a pain, because if I want to start a flame war people will know who I really am (just kidding).

So... is there any way to change the username? How did you all get your usernames?

and... when I go into my account settings, I try to enter my password and it says that it is incorrect, even though I have just logged into my account with that password...

Confused... am I missing something?

    If you wnat to change your Screen name send a PM to Richard Haseltine, giving him your choice of username (and a couple of alternatives in case the one you want is already in use) plus the email address that you use to sign on with.

    This problem has only been here since the new forum went live. So most of us already had our screen names from the old software.

    Please PM me with the name you wish to use, and a couple of alternatives on case that is taken. I can also change your forum password, though I'm not sure it's a good idea (or that it would persist - some things get synced to the store account automatically).
