Where to install Ron's brushes (PS)

Hi,

Here's my dilemma - couldn't resist buying Ron's brushes that were on sale the other day (gorgeous effects!!!) - but where is the best place to install them?

The DIM installer is asking for a path, I'm thinking I should move them manually into PS myself into my PS (CS4) on the Macbook.

BUT - when I join Adobe Cloud and use that on the iMac, where would the files go then?

All this technology makes the brain hurt... and I really want to play with my new brushes!!!

Much appreciated

It's best to manually install them, and it doesn't matter where. I use a PC not a Mac, but I keep all my custom photoshop brushes on an external hard disk. Photoshop can look anywhere that you tell it to for brushes, and I don't think that will be any different when you go over to the cloud.

Thanks, Schmit! That was my original thinking too.

Another word of advice on this. Ron's brushes are large. I keep mine as has been said in a folder, only load the ones I want to use and then remove them once I have finished using them, otherwise they clog up PS and it takes ages to load. Actually in the main I do this with all brushes, I just set brushes to default just before I close PS.
