Copy the files from renderosity into your content libary. If you don't know where your content libary is click on edit, preferences, content directory Manager... and find DAZ Studio Formats
Go to the content libary in your DAZ3 and go to where you copied it. It's most likley under People {Figure (either Genesis 3, 8 2 etc.}, Poses, Vendor
or just look into the rar folder structure of your download.
There can't be a geenral tutorial as not every zip will follow the same layout, unless Renderosity has really tightened things up (and gone through old content). Also there's a difference between Poser and DS formats. For DS, you want the People folder (possibly in a folder named content or My Library), then in that you should find a folder named for the figure (Genesis whichever0, then in that a folder named Pose, and then the folder with the poses for the product. Copy the folder for the product from that Pose folder to the /People/Genesis whichever/Pose folder.
Thanks Illidanstorm and Richard Haseltine for your reply. I get what you are saying, but i'm a little confused because there is either "My Library" with nothing in it or "My Daz connect Library" with 5 different options of different numbers folders. When I drop my unzipped folder from Renderosity in the "My Library" nothing much seems ot happen when I go to Poses in Daz I can't see anything...maybe I'm not looking for them in the right place in the program...where should they be? or am I doing this incorrectly?
attached is an image of what those two folders look like in the program and attached also is an example of one of the pose files i'm trying to upload:
You are probably looking for them at the smart content window in DAZ3D.
Renderosity items don't show up there, because they have no metadata. You need to look for them in the content libary. If you don't see a content libary go to Window > Panes (Tabs) and click the content libary if it isn't marked in yellow. Now look for them inside the content libary.
You could also drag and drop the DSON user file from your folder onto your figure in DAZ3D, the pose will then be applied to your figure.
Illidanstorm I tried dropping the "fklc_AuraZenPoses_G3%2BG8_210061" folder into "My LIbrary" but it doesn't show up in the "Content Library" in Daz. Could you be a little more specific about what files go where please?
also, I'm not seeing any DSON file in the folders I've downloaded..
Ok Murgatroyd, gotcha, will keep that in mind. still don't know where these folders are going though..based on the images i've attached above, can you tell me?
I copy the folders inside of my content folder of DAZ3D. If the zipfile has a content folder of its own, I open the content folder and copy those folders inside of it.
Again if you don't know where your set content folder is, check my first post. Do not copy it inside of the My DAZ connect libary but the "My Libary" Folder.
Then I leave the zip file open looking where it is. For me it is in People, Genesis 8 Female, Clothing, OOT Big Collar Shirt.
I go there inside DAZ in the content libary. There I find the shirt and click on it. It loads into my scene.
thanks for your explanation Illidanstorm, I appreciate it. I'm not sure what to do, because I've followed all these steps and still nothing appear in my content library.
That looks very weird to me, your content libary should have at least some of the basic folders like mine.
Do you have the base figures installed like Genesis 8? Click on it with the right mouse and go to Show asset in, content libary > mapped folder.
Does more content appear when you do that?
Where does it lead you to if you right click on the Genesis 8 and click Browse to File Location? A folder structure like this should appear. If you click on content there that's the folder where your renderosity stuff should go to.
Maybe contact DAZ3D support linking to this thread.

Look half way down on the left edge - there's a little button. Click that to expand the folder list (you have View Side-by-Sode enabled in the option menu)..
Ok Richard Haseltine, I see that button, thanks, I've opened it up now, and Illidanstorm I've reinstalled the program and now trying to load the pose. Do either of you know how to fix this error? :
(the file format is .duf - is that the issue or part of the issue?)?

There is one critical thing to remember when copying folders on a Mac, no matter which ones or how you do it:
Do not EVER click a button that says "replace".
Ok Murgatroyd, gotcha, will keep that in mind. still don't know where these folders are going though..based on the images i've attached above, can you tell me?
Ok I will try to explain it one more time.
I have this shirt from OOT, its the same as a pose set:
https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/?ViewProduct=124434
Inside the zip file I find
Data
Documentation
People
and Runtime Folder

You didn't install it correctly. the folder "People" and anything else that it is inside the zip file go to the folder "My Libary" folder.
Right now you have the fklc_AuraZen folder inside the My Libary folder, thats why it dosen't work.
YES YES YESSSSSSSSS ITS WORKING!!!! VICCCCTORY

tears of sweet joy here. HALefreakinluya.
Thank you Illidanstorm and Richard Haseltine for your help, you've made my day.
