Just trying to decide what the best starter bundle is to get started. I do have a Platinum Membership. Been looking at the Victoria 6 pro bundle but I'm not sure. Any suggestions> What about a Michael 5 bundle and a children's bundle?

pick a figure you think you will spend many happy days with, then get their pro bundle. then look around looking for more specific things, once your started. like steampunk or armor or whatever your into. genesis i think would be the best choice, which is the Michael 5 and Victoria 5's. i love them. they make things easy, with their diversity, and why not buy some environment bundles while your at it? hope i helped.

what do you mean by recreate? like you want to make someone in particular? like a celebrity? because i know a few methods for that
Choice of bundles depends on what you want to do with them. There are several different figures in DAZ store. Victoria 6 is the newest, it is a shape for the figure Genesis 2 Female. She is super new, was released only last week, so no-one has much experience with it yet. Also, because this figure is so new, it does not have very much clothing, hair, morphs and other accessoires that would be designed specially for her (although via autofit she can use clothing made for older figures). But we can expect that new stuff for Genesis 2 Female and V6 will be appearing in DAZ store regularly from now on.
Genesis (now should be called Genesis 1) is a figure older than Genesis 2 Female but one generation newer than figures Victoria 4, Michael 4 and other Generation 4 figures. Genesis (1) can change shape int anything - man, woman, child, monster... Victoria 5, Michael 5 and other Generation 5 models (like Aiko 5 or Freak 5) are all shapes for Genesis (1). Clothing designed for Genesis fits all character shapes regardless of gender and Genesis can wear clothing made for older figures via autofit. Because Genesis is about 2 years old, it has lots of clothing, hair, morphs, poses and other stuff already in DAZ store (or free at ShareCg).
When you speak about a children´s bundle, you probably mean Kids 4. They are Generation 4 figures, just like Victoria 4 and Michael 4. Figures of this generation can only wear clothing that is designed specially for them. So Victoria cannot wear Michael´s clothing, Kids´can only wear their own clothing etc. And they cannot wear clothing designed for older figures (Generation 3, like Victoria 3 etc.). There is LOTS of stuff for Victoria and a lot for Michael in DAZ store and in other 3D stores, as both Victoria and Michael are still very popular among users of Poser software. Kids have less stuff than them but they do have some. There are no Kids 5 for Genesis, but Genesis has a child morph, which can turn your character into a child.

plus, i usually model my own faces, using z-brush. or i just use face morphs, and when i do that, i can make pretty much anyone in fact, i could probably make base genesis look like someone for you if you gave me a picture.
