I got a little mouse happy when navigating around my scene, had a stutter click on something and now my Active Viewport is gone. I've tried poking around but only made it worse. Can anyone show me the way home?
Okay well I guess the Daz Gods heard my prayer. I was messing around while I was waiting for an answer and I don't know what I did to make it POOF or what I did to make it come back but its there now. I'm not asking questions, just glad it's back.

If the viewport dissapears got to menu Window-Pane -and View port and it will be back!
I tried that. A lot of times actually. And a new undocked pane opened that I could increase the size of. But when I tried to dock it, it wouldn't take. I could get it to apply to the sides but that wasn't helpful, having my viewport over by my smart content or by Parameters. As I said, I'm back up and running now but I agree with @themidget...wonder what I did and definitely how I fixed it.
If you have a setting of your workspace you like go to Window > Worspace > Save Layout as (or just press F4)
and give it a name. I call mine "mine"
then when this viewport thing happens go this menu again and click on Select Layout and choose the one you saved. It will load every time you restart DAZ3D.

Happens a lot to me with other software. It would be nice to know what caused it in case it happens again.
