Open Mouth

I have searched through the forums, but haven't been able to find an answer.  I don't seem to be able to find (if it exists) which dial opens or closes the lips/mouth/jaw with a Genesis 8 female.  I am trying to see what I can do with Genesis 8 and if there is a significant benefit/or not to purchasing:https://www.daz3d.com/200-plus-head-and-face-morphs-for-genesis-8-female-s

Please disregard my post.  I found that the dial/sliders are not associated with mouth, but rather found when selecting the Genesis 8 female and scrolling waaaaaaaayyyyyy down in the list.

You should rotate the "pink" section and much lower there is a Mouth Open dial in the "gray" section.

At the top of the parameters tab, there is a box with a magnifying glass symbol next to it for search/filter. If you select Genesis 8 Female and type mou or mouth in that box, it will show only the mouth sliders and reduce the amount of scrolling you need to do to find what you are after. If you know what the slider is called, such as "mouth open", entering that in the filter will immediately display the slider you are looking for. Remember to hit the yellow X next to the box after you are done or the filter will persist until you do.

Can also select just the head for the head only pose controls.

The sliders in your screenshot are shaping morphs (i.e. they alter the character's appearance), not pose controls. You'll want to use the 'Posing' pane [ found in Window -> Pane (Tabs), which is further divided into 'Presets' and 'Editor'.

[edit: Several of the pre-fabbed layouts [ found in Window -> Workspace ] already have the 'Posing' pane docked. You can pick and choose which workspace you prefer, switch between them, or build your own once you're more familiar with DS and your own preferences.]
