Top Dreamlight products?
I see there is a great March madness offer today for PA products. I’m certainly going to go for that! In addition to some others, I want to get some Dreamlight items, particularly tutorials and lighting. But there are so many choices. I wondered what would be your top picks?

Anything by Dreamlight is like amazing-super-wonder-awesome. On steroids.
Well, according to dreamlight it is.
I get a gazillion emails telling me so.
Ah, perhaps I should test the waters with a couple tutorials to see if they are my style. Broadening the question, what are the most useful tutorial products offered by any of the PA’s?
That does really depend on what you want to learn. If you are not sure why don' you pop next door into the New Users Contest forum. THere you will find ongoing courses, run as challenges, and each one for a different aspect of the programs available. THere is qualified and peer to peer advice and discussion, and a really nice atmosphere to learn in.
You can see the different topics and see which you most want to learn about. At that point of you ask for advice then people can give you links to specific tutorials, quite a few of which will actually be simple and free, some will be very in depth and cost more. The tutorials that are made by people who are actually also PAs (content vendors) are usually the best to try, people like V3 digitimes, SickleYield and various other PAs.
Several have associated with Digital Art Live to make some really good tutorials, not cheap, but good https://www.daz3d.com/digital-art-live
Honestly, if you want to learn something specific you can't go wrong by simply asking in the new users section, the people there are very helpful.
Thanks. That sounds like excellent advice.
I’ve been poking around on my laptop with Daz while trying to set up a decent pc for this. I finally beat off the crypto currency miners on Nvidia’s website and snagged a 1080ti, so I will be able to render in non-glacial time. When I finally get it all together, I will head over to the New User Contests, and post more specific questions here.
BTW, here’s a suggestion for a character for any of the PA’s who specialize in the zombie genre: Crypto Currency Zombie Miner. He can have accessories like an open frame pc (spewing smoke from the red-hot gpu's). They roam the countryside devouring video cards and power supplies like a horde of ants.
I am new to Daz3D, also. I have the GreatArtNow 1-9 by Dreamlight, but found they weren't as helpful as I hoped. While his explanations are clear, what he shows for windows andnd settings is not what I see in Daz. Nor are the results that I see even close to his, despite making sure I do exactly what he states. I spent the afternoon literally crawling around in Daz, closing it and opening it, if I got lost; and then the evening trolling through the forums and Youtube videos.
Having seen this thread, I will take Chohole's advice and head to the New Users Contest forum.
I'm not sure any of the PA's will take you up on your suggestion, Raymand, but there are a number of members that I am sure would go scurrying off to do renders of their take on the subject. Maybe I'll point a few this way and see what develops.
Hehe. But maybe the trauma hits too close to home. Myself, I wanted to get a 1080ti straight from Nvidia to avoid the exorbitant markups you sometimes see on ebay or the other hw co's that license GeForce. So I got onto their "notify me" waitlist. Over the last 3 months, I got emails saying they were back in stock. But by the time I could get to their website, just minutes after the email, they were all gone. Probably mostly to miners and ebay scalpers, too. It's like the zombie apocalypse for computer hardware.
Yes, I got one from Esha there. Although I've only had time to view part if it, it's really good. Thanks for this, and your other suggestions.
