Hey guys :)
im now to picture composings so please be Patient with me...
i ordered a product called ron's apocalypse - payed for it and started downloading the download-manager. After that i started downloading the two Files for rons apocalypse. All of a sudden there were ofer 40 programs in my Download Manager starting to Download and installing. How can this happen?? Are there Free apps, programs which are automaticaly installed??
One File of the rons apocalypse did function (the One with the backgrounds). But when i tried to install the other One (bruches for ps) there always cames an error because of a wrong path for apps, although i did select the path to c/Adobe/ps/
please help me out!
Thanks

I am not sure what you may have downloaded and installed prior to experiencing what you described in your post, but, based upon what you have said, here is what I believe has happened:
DAZ's DIM (Download Install Manager) package is designed to keep track of content that is available to you from your Product Library under your account here on the DAZ site. In that Product Library is any content that you have purchased from DAZ, along with any free content provided by DAZ to go with DAZ Studio, such as the Starter Essential bundles for all of the Genesis series of figures, etc. Once installed, DIM checks the contents of your Product Library here against any content that has been installed in your content Library on your PC. If there is any content here in your Product Library that has not been installed on your PC and you tell DIM to download, it will download anything that is available that you have not yet downloaded. When you told DIM to download Ron's Apocalypse, it also began to download all the other content available to you from your Product Library as well - they are not "programs", they are 3D content files. Nothing to be alarmed about. DIM will also periodically download, if you allow it, any updates to any content you have if they are available.
As for the Ron's Apocalypse stuff, personally I would be inclined to simply manually download and install the brushes, since they really have nothing to do with DAZ Studio and belong in your Photoshop brushes folder. However, the problem you are having related to your path that DIM is looking for to install the brushes for you, could be that the path you are specifying is wrong. If you actually told it to look in c/adobe/ps then the error is understandable - the proper syntax for that location should be C:\Adobe\PS. Are you certain that that is where your Photoshop installation is? Normally most applications under Windows would be installed to C:\Program Files\ if they are 64-bit programs, or C:\Program Files (x86) if they are 32-bit programs. If I had to guess, I would assume that Photoshop was installed in C:\Program Files\Adobe\PS, depending upon the version of photoshop that you have. You should check the path in File Explorer to confirm where it is and that you have it entered correctly in DIM.
Rons brushes a friggin awesome, an investment you wont regret...
