Why is there two icons for some of my actors? And how do I fix it?

    Right click on each ion in a pair and "Browse to File Location". I'd guess they are either in 2 different locations, or you have nested content folders.

    ok jus to double checked the file locations and one is a .dsf and the other is a .duf. can I delete one and if I can or should which one do I get rid of?

    Ah, sounds like you installed both the DS (which is the 4.5+ version) and the Legacy (4.0 version). You don't need the Legacy versions, which are the .dsf files (unless there isn't a .duf version, of course).

    I went back to my DIM and uninstalled all the legacy files and that fixed it thank you.
