What Type of Character are Toon Generations?
Daz Studio has a lot of characters and some things go with some and not others. I'd like to make a toon generations character walk and wonder if this walk cycle for Genesis 8 will work.

I should add that some older walk aniblocks make the figure walk, but with legs bent in together so that one leg passes through the other leg. So is a Toon Generations character a Genesis X or a Micheal Y?

Original Toon Generations, or Toon Generations 2? The former is a stand-alone figure - I don't recall if it's compatible with any other figure's poses, but if it is, it's most likely M4/V4. The latter is a set of shapes for Genesis 3, and can use anything made for that figure (possibly with a little tweaking). Genesis 8 has a different base pose than everything else, so its walk cycles will not work well with anything else.
