How can I completely start afresh?

Hi, I have been using DAZ 4.5 some months ago, made a number of purchases and changes, and then couldn't work on it again.

Now, I have DAZ 4.6, and I uninstalled everything I could to start afresh, but there are still some problems, like DAZ can't find Genesis or anything, but the smart library still remembers all of my items, and I can't get them of course since I have removed them all and want to download them again through DIM.

Is there a guide somewhere of what are the steps to completely uninstall DAZ?

    Did you reinstall the starter essentials?

    Yes, I did. It just couldn't find Genesis. Anyway, in the meantime I have decided to reinstall windows completely on a new HDD (not only for that reason though), so that might solve my problem. We'll see.

    Actually, with a new Windows install, there is no problem anymore. I have all the items at the right place, so it's actually fixed.

    Not the way I asked when I started this topic, so I guess it would still be useful to know what is required to do if you want to reinstall without getting on a new OS.
