Daz3D, Rendererotica and adult content?

Hello,

I just downloaded and installed the free Daz3D package (and spent several hours trying to move the installed content to another HD; the installer install it where I want but "forgets" to tell to the main program where exactly it is. So the question - as I understood  Rendererotica sells "adult" content for Daz3D models. Can those Rendererotica adult "parts" be added seamlessly to the standart Daz3D models? Or I will have to purchase the the adult Daz3D model bundles (marked as PRO I believe)? And do the Daz3D models with added adult parts keep the same functionality as the PRO models?

Thanks in advance.

PS. I downloaded and installed the Hexagon package too which is said to be free but when I tried to start it I was asked for reg number and w/o such number it switched to trial mode (or limited functionality mode, forgot exactly what it said).

You can use this script to tell DS to use the paths set in Install Manager http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/scripting/api_reference/samples/file_io/install_manager_config_import/start - download it, then drag it into the Daz Studio Viewport.

The Daz anatomical elements are not new base figures but GeoGrafts that add to the base figure, without interfering with its function. Note, however, that they require different maps from the covered area of the base figure and not every character set includes maps for the anatomical elements. Renderotica has, I believe, both add-ons for the Daz anatomical elements and stand-alone models that don't require the Daz models.

For Hexagon, you can get the serial number either from Install Manager by right-clicking on the Hexagon entry or from the Serial Numbers page of your Account here.

Yes most (if not all) of the popular anatomical parts on renderotica have a "copy shader" function that will transfer the skin to the anatomical parts. And they work seperatly from the DAZ models. Note that some of the external parts have versions for a specific model. This will optimise it shape to said model. That being said so far i havent come across any weird behaviour. But for more information its best to ask specific question on the renderotica board.

  • You will also need to manually add metadata to any assets you get from there so that they will show up in the smart pane.

Some of them actually come with metadata.
