Moving folders around inside a zip file

Would there be any problems changing a Poser or DAZ zip file around ? Like moving the MATS inside the CHARACTER folder instead of the POSE folder? Or moving the MATERIALS folder inside the CHARACTER folder too? I know I should leave the TEXTURES and GEOMETRIES folders alone. I'm not touching those. I just wanted my MATS in the same folder as my character folder instead of one showing up in figures and the other showing up in poses. I'm basically wanting to know if it's ok to move things around inside the LIBRARIES folder only.

    I wouldn't do it inside the zip, but with the installed content you can do it yes, as long as you are using Poser 8 (or later) or DAZ Studio. If you are using DS and want to keep the Smart Content working, move the files using the Content Library pane (there are right-click menus for file functions); note that if you reinstall the product, or if there's an update, you will need to manually remove the old files and move the new files from their default location again.
