Saving Clothing Item

I've completed the first part of Fugazi's excellent tutorial (http://www.daz3d.com/classic-bikini) and have the bottoms inside Daz and rigged to Genesis. My question is how do I save that as a wardrobe item in Daz?

I tried Wearable Preset but that requires that you have an object selected that has other items fitted to it so I'm assuming it's to create a pre-dressed figure.

I'm assuming I'd save it under the normal directory structure for clothing items (Library->Characters->Genesis->Clothing->...)

File>Save as>Support Asset>Figure Prop Asset. You will get a file browser to set the location of the user file, that appears in the content library (so \People\Genesis\Clothing\somewhere presumably), and an option dialogue asking for your name and the product name which will set the folder names used in the Data folder for the support files

Try file/save as and near the bottom you'll see support asset/figureandprop. I'm not by pc now so I think that's the right terminology but it's close at least. Lol

Edit.. I type too slow on tablet ! Lol

Thank you very much. That did it and it even managed to make it show up in my Smart Content doing it that way.

The advice given by Richard Haseltine helped me out enormously.

For those who would like to save clothing to their Genesis clothing library directly then I found the following also applied,

File>Save as>Support Asset>Figure Prop Asset    Instead of saving straight away, I navigated to My DAZ 3D Library/People/Genesis(2,3,4,5,6,7,8,8.1), Clothing/(the name of the garment being saved).

This will then show up under the clothing section of the Genesis it was saved under and also appears in Smart Content.

    Hope this helps.
