Updating Posts- Need Quick Answer- Really Quick, LOL
I am in the middle of doing a very extensive lighting tutorial and my question is this- when I update a post with more images and more content, how does that affect the people subscribed to the thread? (Which is a lot- so I don't want to inconvenience them with multiple emails for one post) Do people get multiple emails for one post, or any indication it has been updated? If any of you who watch my art studio thread can check your emails and let me know what you're seeing, I may just have to keep a post open until all of it is typed out. Doing a step by step thing though, and that would slow people down who are doing what I'm doing and having to wait.

No one mail per post. I have had emails displaying a different message than the one displayed on the forums as the origianl had been editted by the maker of said post/s. So yes one mail per post no matter how many times you edit. That is what I have found and set up since the new forums went online.
thanks Szark! Don't want to drive people crazy.
BTW, you are mentioned in my tutorial- people really need to visit your Art Studio thread to see those last critters you posted! (Go to forums>Art Studio to see everyone's private studios- their renders, etc. A really cool section of the forums that isn't in the main dropdown! http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/2765/P165/#350703 is Szarks critters- and he is also doing a cool post and sharing some more lighting. So if you're in the mood for more advanced, surf in to his, and surf in to mine for basics and a spotlight/ pointlight tutorial with around 100 photos step by step. (In progress, will take all night.)
Thanks again!

aww shuck thanks Novica. (insert big ego smilie here)
Now driving people crazy is my job, I have a diploma certifiing I make people crazy without intending to. It is a gift. So let's not get the unions involved and leave that side of things to me.
You wouldn't HAVE to insert a smilie if they would JUST GET THEM FIXED. And as a member of the geek squad, you're protected from unions, didn't ya know? (People reading your art studio thread will "get" that remark.)
LOL Hey I am having fun inserting my own smilys thank you. No unions, ok then cool. A bonus for having moments of geekness.
