Hairstyle is being uncooperative. Showing in the forehead

DDCreateDDCreate Posts: 1,404

I am working on a series and rendered the first 40pictures last night/today. When I looked at the finished product, I saw frequent instances where lines are appearing on the characters foreheads. The two hair styles are from 2 different PA's so I doubt it's product fault, just something to do with how the skull caps are fitting? The odd thing is that it doesn't always happen. The character on the left, this is the only time it happned in the batch. On the right, these sort of marking appeared in about a dozen of the pictures showing her. This isn't visible as a problem until it's rendered so i don't know how to prevent it or when it's going to happen. Does anyone recognize what is causing this and maybe how i can fix it?

Thanks for any help.

You get the problem when you have a HD morph and the base cap of the hair is intersecting with it. The best way to handle that is to increase the forehead size of the base cap.

Ahhh I see. That makes sense. I knew it had to need some little tweak. In the past I'd just try another hair shape or pick a different hair all together. So glad I'll be able to use these. Thanks BeeMKay!
