I have WorldBase-XT by Magix 101, and I understand that the note in the promo:
NOTE: The high resolution detailed tiled grounds are not available in DAZ|Studio because it does not support material tiling yet. Therefore currently in DAZ|Studio the grounds are not as detailed.
Now I am thinking of upgrading to "The All New Worldbase XT Lushlands", "Worldbase XT Snow-Lands", "Desertland Pak for Worldbase", "Complete World-Village for Pose" by Magix 101.
BUT since the ground of WorldBase -XT is not working for DS to begin with, so I am wondering if anybody can tell me do the above newer products work to bring back some details on the ground in WorldBase-XT?

DAZ Studio has supported titling for a long time now, several years, so they work as expected.
Yes, but the updated Worldbase uses D|S tiling while the older version doesn't. I have tried tiling the ground textures in the older version manually, with... odd results. Has anyone tried this with any success?
You have to turn off the mask or it looks like a bunch of circular patches. (I think it was the opacity mask, but I'm not on my normal machine and can't check.) Just turn the black and white circle (jpg) to none in the shaders tab.

It was something as simple as that? Thanks for the tip — now I can give those old Worldbase sets another go, for the first time since I abandoned Poser. Am I right in guesstimating a tiling value of 66.6? I've tried reverse-engineering the tiling settings for D|S in other sets, but the results were so variable I was never sure if I was doing it right.
I think I used 50x, but I wasn't looking directly at the grass.
