GenX2 Definitions not found.

When I run GenX2 the source tab is greyed out; so I can't use that, nor can drop and drag anything over to the Morph Area.

No Source Figrure Definitions Found
No Target figure Definitions Found

From what I've seen online researching this problem GenX is not finding my Genesis and V4/M4 series charactors even though it was installed via IM and my IM paths have not changed in years. I tried moving the ini to a public folder but that did not work.

The Ini currently lives here, but I cant be sure based on what I've seen that this is the correct adress.

C:\Users\BB\AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D\Studio4\GenX2

I currently Run DAZ 4.7; its old but the DAZ lit assures me that the plug in should work for any DAZ version 4.5 and Higher and I'm pretty well sure there is a pathing issue at the root of this problem.

The GenX Ini is reproduced below,  all the folder data is blank, I typed the first three rows in by hand trying to show the plug in where Genesis lives on my computer but to no luck. While I opened a Ticket with the DAZ help desk; my experiance has taught me that any help I might get concerning DAZ will come form the Forum Community.

• Current user's folder (where your scenes and presets are stored)
• All Users' folder (where DIM install the products)
• Daz Connect folder of the current user

 

In your case, GenX seems not be able to find where are stored the Genesis 1/2/3 Essentials

For example, Genesis

About Generation 4 figures, GenX doesn't detect them, you must load them manually ("Load figure" button).

Then they will be added to the "Sources" list.

Sorry for the long Delay Noah, life has been busy here,

but your guidance was most helpful. and I would not have figured this out in my own. : )

Now I have a working Gen1 Gnoll base and thats just what I was after.

i seem to be having same issue definition can not be found

and tried pasting gensis data folder everywhere but it still doesnt work
