Newbie Question about Mixing/Matching Morphs/Presets
Hello!
I am very new to this program, but also very interested in starting this as a new hobby. However, before I start I wanted to make sure I understood certain core concepts such as using different parts from models. For example: there is a preset called "Chandra" in which I really like the face, but I also like the body shape of a different model called Kalea 7. Assuming I have purchased and installed all the prerequisties for those figures, when I start a new project can I simply stick Chandra's head/face on Kalea 7's body? Is it that simple or am I missing anything?
My thanks to any and all who can help!

If you mean https://www.daz3d.com/p3d-chandra-hd-for-victoria-7 then yes, it has a separate head and body shape (as does Kalea 7) so they can be mixed. Morphs can always be mixed (though not every mix will look good, of course) - the thing you have to check is whether the character has separate head and body shapes listed, or only one overall shape. Even if there are no separate shapes you can still mix two or more shapes together though there will be a contribution from both to the overall shape (though it's usually wise to keep the total values not far over 1).

Ricahrd, where do you check this?
Thank you so much Richard Haseltine!
That cleared things up for me! You've been a huge help! Thanks again!

From the product description, there appears to be a morph that affects the head only (in red). Although I don't know what's standard nor do I have this product, I have noticed that sometimes the head morph affects the body, or the body morph affects the head, even if the name of the content thumbnail suggests otherwise, so it might be wise to just double-check on the forums with somebody who owns it:
