    I don’t think he dislikes soccer, he just doesn’t like seeing someone having fun (it makes his job harder). wink

    Thanks again for the fun stuff, your work is always welcome.

    @wsterdan : Ha ! Ha ! You're maybe right...

    Yes, with these great Toon characters it's funny to work.

    @nonesuch00 : I don't use any shader. I use a Uber Environment light included in Daz Studio + a distant light (for shadow if needed !). Then I try to find the best parameters in the Surface panel.

    I have begun to mix Daz and Unity on 2 ways :

    I export (with a Unity plugin) Toon models in obj. files to insert them into Daz to create an environment around the ToonGen characters. There are thousands great (free or not) Toon models in the Asset store.

    Or I can make a 2D sprite from a 3D model using another plugin to add to my 2D Daz renders.

    (We don't need any programming skills to use these plugins from the free version of Unity).

    Nice. I found an Ostrich egg that was hidden one Easter as the 'Lucky Egg'. I got $1 for finding it.

    Congratulations ! Did it contain a poor baby too ??? ;-)

    Here is a picture with a free nice toon house from the Unity store. Imported in Daz it's interesting. You can see it isn't a backdrop but a 3D model thanks to the shadows on the house.

    I don't know. I suppose it contanted ostrich egg white & yolk but I gave the egg to a girl that wanted it.

    Is it the Unity Technologies FBX Exporter that you are using to export as obj files?

  • 6r6r Posts: 463

    Ha ! Ha !

    Because I have Primitives Pro I use it to export into .obj model. And because I'm working with Daz Studio 3 that doesn't import .fbx files.

    But I just have tested with Daz 4 and .fbx import and it works fine. That means you can use Unity FBX Exporter.

    I like that. The dragon looks like it might be made from paper machè. Or is it maché? Sorry, I don't know French, but like every good American child I was taught the Frère Jacques nursery rhyme. laugh

    Now that is scary and I know because as 13 year old we went to a fireworks show for American Independence Day in Florida and I sat on a hill of ants and they got in my pants and attacked me! I learned to dance! Careful!

    As this is essentially a render thread it has been moved to the Art Studio.

  • 6r6r Posts: 463

    @nonesuch00 : Sorry with the ants !

    I have asked this little fairy to help you. She's calling you... Don't forget to answer.

    Another excellent hero, nicely captured in Toon Gen1. Well done!

    He'd do well with 3djoji's Mariachi For Toon Generation and with a little altering, his Little Soldiers...

    Thanks a lot...

    Zorro already uses the Mariachi item here but without mexican textures.

    Here is a human buttock morph this ToonGen guy seems to appreciate :   wink

    Good toon but they will delete your render because no nudity allowed.

  • 6r6r Posts: 463

    I thought we can't show nipples !?! Ok !

    Strange world where people are shocked by natural nudity (even if it was cartoonish !) and not by monsters, zombies and blood !?!

    Yes, it is strange. If they would ban the blood, gore, and violence and not just the nudity maybe there would be something in the gallery besides huge breasted woman in bikinis accompanied by giant meat-eating cats. laugh

    That's a good render though getting back on topic..

    Oh, well I guess enough people don't complain enough about a few of the violent ones. And I suppose brandishing a gun, sword, or other weapon as a threat it not considered violence.
