importing 3D objects into After effects

in New Users
Hello everyone,
My name is Scott, and I'm very new here. I'm an actor by trade, but am working on filming a low budget sci-fi movie soon. I have a real life actor playing the Devil, and I would love to add a pair of the "Epic Wings" from Daz 3D studio onto the actor via green screen. Is there a way to import them into After Effects, and manipulate them to open, and close while motion tracking them to the actor. Or can the video footage be imported into Daz 3D, and do the same thing? I just love the 3D wings from Daz 3D, and want to use a pair. Any professional help would be grately appreciate.
Thank you

HI Scott - you can do that several different ways - 1) import into Element3d ( AE Plugin I would recommend ) as a object sequence from Daz 3D with the wings animated with Daz. 2) there are several FBX importers for AE - create the wing animation you desire in Daz and export to AE ( with FBX animation )
Here is a nice FBX importer for AE - http://www.timecore.org/fbx-to-ae/
There are alot of tutorials for exporting a OBJ sequence from Daz3d - Google is your tool for that. Same goes for FBX/Daz animation and importing into AE.
with Element3d there is also the possibility of rigging the wings inside AE. I am not sure if this is the "professional help" you are seeking - but you know have some solid ideas and routes to look further into.
