Hiya,
Although I have had Daz for quite a few years, I have only just started using it. I have updated to the free Daz4 and am using V4.2 as my model rather than Genesis cos being both new & pretty skint, there seems to be more free stuff for her.
Anyway, I have been trying to download some free characters and morphs etc... but half of them seem to say ya gotta have the morphs++ Pack for them to work? I have tried using some of them anyway but unsurprisingly,,, they don't work :-)
I have looked in the Daz Shop and Products pages and tried googling for it but cant find it anywhere.... so where do I get it from?

Thanks

Pete

If you want some free clothes for Genesis have a look at the link in my signature. I have lots there.

You should definitely check out Wendy's stuff over on ShareCG.

Also, for clothing a lot of the stuff for V4/M4 works really well with Genesis using Autofit. Since you were asking about Morps++ I'm assuming that you're looking at the character models though. In that case you might want to look into getting Die Tryings 182 Morphs (http://www.sharecg.com/v/58198/View/11/Poser/DieTryings-182-V4-Morphs-for-Genesis) and dialing your own custom morphs. Along with that if you download those V4/M4 characters you should be able to use the textures from them on Genesis by changing the UV Map to V4.

For just getting started I highly recommend checking out the General Freepozitory board, especially the monthly freebie challenge. Even if you don't feel confident in entering you can find links to a lot of free content and see how it can be used.

Thanks for your help so far.. I did start to use Genesis but some of the clothes that I had from years ago dont 'Fit' too good... they do fit but all the toes on the boots I had curl up drastically and bend in etc whereas on V4 they just snap straight on.

I'm pretty sure I had the morphs++ pack from years ago... does anyone know what the files names are?? I can search all my old folders then to check lol

Thanks again for you help so far... I'm just gonna go & check out some of the links you have suggested.

    Thanks

    Pete

Yeah shoes from V4/M4 are the worst for getting to fit. Autofit works pretty well for most everything else but shoes tend to baffle it.

The easy fix if you're using closed toed shoes is to hide the toes. If you're using something like boots where the foot doesn't show at all you can turn the entire foot off which will not only fix your poke through but also improve performance since the render engine can ignore those polygons.

If you purchased the Morphs++ stuff before, even if it was a while back, you should be able to see it in your product library and re-download it if you can't find it.
