so, I've been wondering about our ancient ancestors and their cave drawings.. to me they drew the animals with great likeness ... but.... I dunno... we look kinda wacky which got me thinking...
wacky petroglyph modelling time ... three of them based on cave drawings with a bit of artistic wackiness
boned and all
that one on the left rings a bell!
all 3 are based on rock paintings... the one you picked is probably the most popular one shown on telly.
Talking of telly, here's a wacky Gobbledock started from the infamous cube
what's a Gobbledock I hear you say..... well........ sssshhhhhhhh.... and hide your chips!
boned and morphed and furred!
lot's of my models I started off with the cube
the cube evolved into a body mesh that I saved out in my browser and I just load it up when I have a figure in mind and I pushed and pulled and extracted polys and stuff..
I'm going to share my body with you all ..... so you can bone it or do whatever you like with it..
just need to let me see what you model from it... have fun experimenting ... it's low poly and as you can see it can be manipulated pretty good..
it's in the zip so go ahead and make my day.... bone & morph my body
ha ha thanks! you ave a way with words as the French would say
Blank picture .....
Thanks !!!
how wacky is that!
dunno what happened there. I'll fix it later today I'm just about to head off to HARS to show the grandkids the WWII planes... weird
im on my iPad so can't do anything.
fixed now
TigerMoth
very cool image there @Bunyp02
here's something you didn't know you needed!
a speech bubble with some morphs
how wacky is that!
just add your own morphs and share back here.... or not... but if you can use it then awesome
it's chatting away in the zip file
two cubes and a gel light!
started from polyline circle tool and a sphere with a cube & cylinder thrown in
a hampster floating thingy
wacky as!
You should license that design, big enough for people, to "American Ninja Warriors":
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1587934/
when I modelled Cpt Caveman I also did the bird but forgot all about it!
till today when I went looking for something else totally different...
a wacky morphing club and bird
not much happening in the forums lately
so why not use the text tool for
MadMondayModelling
nothing better than boning a Monday
Creative and interesting! Textures were probably pretty easy, but still, they look nice.
thanks UB
textures were just the Carrara basic metal shader aluminum and the red and white plastic transparency shader which I adjusted the transparency, the wire mesh is my own made shader using a wire netting texture and transparency. that's all.
I love this wacky Voodoo character from Renderosity and it works just fine in Carrara after the mandatory shader tweaks
used my wacky speech bubble, safety pin and wacky Groovies effects which you can get from the depths of these pages somewhere!
wacky renders
just a wacky toon landscape I modelled today
very simple.. flat hills with morphs, morphing ground a cloud and my sun and a couple of simple palm trees just because
texture and work out what you can to your hearts content ... it's in the zip file
Monday render on a Tuesday
all wacky modelling done in Carrara
between fried chicken, old Roman knives and Dexter, one is bound to go wacky!
modelled drop sheets, chicken leg, Roman knife, blood puddle and gurney for a wacky Dexter Dining set!
used displacement on the fried chicken!
a wacky simple christmas present started from a cube! go figure!
it morphs
texture and add more morphs to your hearts content it's in the zip file
season's greetings
Christmas with Carrara Cubes
how wacky is that title!
boned Charlie Brown using my body found here as a starter
though I'd try out my Garden St model I started here and plonk it into Stonemason's Streets of London to see how it went with it
ended up ok I think
I spy someone silly-walking!
Dana
you spied correctly
