@de3an sweet ... post it here... with all your other stuff.. love bender
but can't see the Zarkov in your gallery.. it ain't showing for me
is everyone Getting ready for the new series of Lost In Space on Netflix tomorrow?
so I modeled the shell of the original J2 today.
Also I'll post the chariot and pod which I also modeled a few weeeks ago
'Danger Will Robinson'
also forgot to mention the Lost in Space lazer guns from the original series... I had a go at modeling them also.. how wacky!
You need to scroll down a little to get to it, but here it is:
This one's not in the gallery, but it has Bender in it:
The Hexagon file:
sweet modeling.... will have to go look for more old stuff to do now
I wonder how Bunyip is going with his....
Thanks, it took me a while.
Here's a little fun with Photoshop:
Hey de3an, that is just superb!
Thanks!
cool stuff..... it does get around doesn't it lol
Tyre Fryer needs a bit more UV mapping - been sidetracked as usual on other projects.
These are some wacky models by other peeps.
Very nice, takes me back to the old scifi TV shows. A similar model inspired me to do this short Carrara animation:
cute animation
+1 on the animation.... Steve K
Stezza, Mistara, -
Thanks. Carara is a great program for making ideas come to life as animations. Especially with such great modelers offering their products at affordable prices.
yep
something a bit different........... Fun with a fish
some more fish tales
the clown fish started off as a simple cube
mate that's cool, time for you to sell through Daz
Stezza - are you pitching for a job with Pixar?!
you got me thinking on the next model Misty... I started on Marvin and it ended up along these lines..... wacky hey!
this one is tough to model.... for me!
got this far
The BuzzSuit
I may stick a head in it tomorrow lol
video
apparently rendered in iClone but work done in Carrara prior
my Marvin 5 years ago was pretty sad, omg the rigging on those hands is terrifying
it was a 3DU figure no doubt adapted in the vertex room
these days of course I would create a morph and in DAZ studio use the adjust rigging utility on a weighmapped figure, or rig my own, animation of the Curiousity Rover was obvious my real point of the clip, was in news so got something up there fast.
think Marvin might be a romulan, with his lil roman skirt
ooops
I crashed Carrara doing the jetpack!
Boning Buzz was easy... but once again the weight painting gets me.... $%$%#@#
if anyone would like to have a go at weight painting him.. let me know and I'll post the Carrara buzz file
to infinity and beyond!
falling with style!
as a solid jointed space suit wearing toy, should he even be weightpainted?
if he is deconstructed into parts you could just set up a parented scene hierarchy and use IK to limit balljoint rotations to children
I did think of trying that... haven't tried it before..
also made me think of that deconstructed vegemite toast that was on the news the other day lol
hungry now
the hotpoint needs to be at the tip of each part where you want it to pivot off the parent but yes it works
I deconstructed Buzz and ball jointed him
added a couple of morphs to open shut the visor and wings
Thanks Wendy....
I'll attach him here for you all to have a play/improve him with..
I grabbed him and was setting up an animation and of course Octane crashed Carrara redoing the textures with it open, Carrara plastic renders black
will try again another day, had a room full of toys and did not save so too lazy today
he works well
