finally Orville is streaming on aussie TV ( SBS )
so I had to try and do a wacky one
I thought you must have, but when I went back couldn't find one. Not sure how I missed it lol. Anyway thanks for the kind words. Yours is far better. Mine ... well ... it is there lol. I did remember those little side braces along the top, but then forgot them when I was doing it. Figures right?
Wow! Very elegant!
Thanks Veronika...
it's not an accurate model of the Orville but I think it is recognisable as it.. I think..
started off as sphere with this one
Very Frakkin (different show, I know! LOL) Cool!!!
Very impressive. The king of vertex massage for sure. :)
nah... lol
far from it but thanks
Today I duplicated and bounced this sphere all around the South Park quite a few times to get this Wacky guy
duplicated the sphere a few more times and attached him to the post to experiment with
So Kewl, Stezza! Bravo!!!
More great models. Especially like seeing the parts of the South Park little dude. Excellent.

this wacky model I started from a cylinder is of a gymboot... these days they call them converse...
this mornings model is a creepy wacky dummy .... for whatever... eeeek!
find attached in the zip
ha ha thanks Stezza, something for me to spit!! nice shoe too - from a cylinder? amazing
I guess, with a little more effort it could be a product.
thanks Veronika,
I didn't spend much time on them or the textures as I wanted them for the challenge.. they came out ok once smoothing was applied but not for close ups..
basically modelled in Carrara
https://www.daz3d.com/forums/uploads/FileUpload/6a/4f1e8ede5899bc5aabb5c09df386ad.zip
then a unified skin and zremeshing and UV in Zbrush and some polypaint
has 2 morphs
mushrooms.... awesome Wendy
today's wacky model is a scooter like I had when I was a kid..... no brakes and all!
attached inside the zip file for you to experiment and texture with
Stezza.... how did you 'rig' it? I still have problems with G3 shoes even doing Misty's convert to blended and saving as a figure prop after appplying to her Carrara G3 in DS, then putting them onto the Carrara G3 character in Carrara. They fit, but I have to pose the figure first, then put the shoes on. Otherwise the soles stay 'glued' to the floor. I can get around it by making each shoe a separate object, then parenting each to the left and right foot in Carrara. BUT I do not have the metatarsal or ankle/foot bend ability. So how to rig that part??? Sorry not to be around much... just a lot going on in real life. I am still tryint to work on the NPR character scenes.
