Curious about the A Pose

Why did Daz decide to make that change from the T-Pose? Was it to cause separation between older Genesis models? This change has a pretty big impact on clothing and posing between the 2 Generations. Just curious.

    Apparently the main reason was to make it easier to get dForce clothes to work (though of course we didn't know about dForce then).
