Skin Doctor is a panel and script script-driven skin add-on solution consisting of different modules. Each module can work stand alone, it is not needed to have the other modules. Modules can also be combined of course.
The Wet & Wild module provides wet skin, drops, rolling water and splashes
geo-shell options for Genesis 3 and 8 Male based characters.
You get lots of adjustment options in the Skin Doctor Editor panel, like refraction, translucency, bump and more to adjust the wet skin and drop shells as you need them according to your used environment and lighting.
The presets that are included are supposed to be suggestions. You can use them as a base and do further adjustments with the Skin Doctor Editor. You can also save your own custom presets after you have adjusted them. Included is a short manual that explains the needed steps.
The Skin Doctor Editor manages all the minutiae of selecting and creating geo- shells, materials, and surfaces while allowing you to change the colors and intensities of the various skin options easily and quickly.
While other products provide you with 5, 10, or perhaps 15 presets to change colors or intensities, the Skin Doctor Editor provides an UNLIMITED number of intensity or colors options to craft your perfect skin look.
For this module, you can use the Skin Doctor Editor to adjust the wet look, the drop/splash color, translucency, opacity and more. Several ready to use presets are also included for your convenience. Each applied shell can be hidden or shown individually and also set up individually with the Editor.
Daz's Genesis 3 and 8 Male Anatomical Elements are supported by the Wet Skin Shells.

Yes, with dark skins it's not looking that good unfortunately, at least I was not able to achieve as good results as with brighter / pale skins
I'm struggling a bit with this and would love any guidance folks can offer. Basically when I apply the drops shell, it appears as dark and shadowy. I've tried adjusting the settings and have gotten a good result for the overall wet skin, but the drops consistently look very dark. Any suggestions? This is for a G3M.
Settings here are as follows, though I've tried adjusting these, particularly translucency, opacity, and refraction weight and index, but they're always dark splotches like this.
