Daz Dynamics Question

Are daz dynamics compatible between figures in the same way Poser dynamics are? Say, if I bought the M4 Loincloth, would that work on genesis and different genesis shapes?

    Sadly not. In poser, just about any object can become dynamic through the cloth room. In Daz Studio, all dynamic cloth goes through an OptiTex plugin to calculate the drapes. That in itself wouldn't be too much of a problem, but unfortunately, the dynamic cloth plugin for Daz doesn't like you scaling or altering the original mesh. If you try to do so, it springs back to its original shape and size, making the whole process rather pointless.

    The upshot of this is that in general, items bought for other figures may not work as well as hoped.
