Please Help! ( dared to touch content directory manager ) nothing will link

I made the foolish mistake of moving my content from one drive to another and used the Content Directory Manager to relink things and completly broke all connections.

even after deleting everything DAZ related off my computer,  uninstalling and reinstalling several times, making another account,  DAZ remembers my ( wrong ) Content Directory Settings and nothing works its absolutly driving me mad.. 

can someone tell me what are the default settings or paths in the CDM or how to reset it even. 

OR

Is there a way to completely remove daz and reinstall as if it were new and remove it as if it were never on the machine so it install as new with no  memory settings of previous installs.

    Uninstalling will not, and should not, affect settings - including content directories - or the Content Management System database. Where is your content now?

    Hey Richard, thanks for the reply,  ive just reinstalled and in the C drive/program files is a DAZ3D folder containing DazStudio4 and PostgreSQL

    in the programe files (x86)  is a folder DAZ3D then DAZ3DIM1 ..  hope this makes sense 

    then in the C: / users / public / public documents / DAZ3D & My DAZ3D Library 

    however when I open daz no content is detected  I even get a PostgreSQL connection error for good measure :)  

    any advice would be much appreciated !

    UPDATE ( in case anyone has a similar problem ) 

    Relinking to the Users / public / public docs / my daz library was the correct path
