Trouble installing Photoshop 3D Bridge for Mac
I am having trouble installing the Photoshop 3D Bridge for Daz Studio 4.5+ on my Mac. I am using Download Manger 1.0.1.59. I have Creative Suite 5. I continue to get the error: Install Manager cannot find a required path. The installer for "Photoshop 3D Bridge for DAZ Studio 4.5+ (Mac 64 bit) requires that the installed path for "Photoshop CD^,CS5,CS4 (64 bit) be defined. Make sure that a path for this application is present on the "Applications" page of the "Settings" dialog then try again.
I am setting the path to where Photoshop is located: /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS5
Still the error. What am I missing? Help please.

Can you post a screen shot of your Settings > Applications tab?
I haven't tried installing this with DIM (and I use Windows anyway) but try pointing to the plugins folder, not the main application folder. If that does fix the issue please bug report it, as the instructions should be clearer or the path required different.
To be fair, I can't get the plugin to install with DIM either. I resorted to manual. We do need a bug report on it so they can get it fixed.
My screen shot is attached. For those who have installed it manually how do you do that. The site seems to want to dictate that the download and install be done using DIM.
No, the path for DAZ Studio should be the path to DAZ Studio (NOT to the Plugins subfolder). You need to click the + sign to add an entry for Photoshop (again, to the application folder, NOT the plugins subfolder).
How do I create a path for Photoshop 3D Bridge?
Go to the applications tab and click on the + and direct it to the desired location
Just a note if not covered before. If DAZ Studio was not Hand installed the required ini file for installing Plugins is not created.
almost a year later and this is still a problem.....
What problem are you having?
can anyone tell me what am i doing wrong about installing the photoshop bridge and why is every feature of this software is a pain to set up???
In Settings > Applications, click the plus sign in the lower left and add the path to Photoshop.
as you can see i already did that in the first picture and it didnt solve the problem.thats why im lost.
I only see DAZ Studio listed in the Applications tab screenshot.
You've set the path, but you've set it as a DAZ Studio location - you have to set the application and version as well as the path.
hey Richard thanks for the picture.yeah i pushed the + button to add directory but didnt select photoshop in the application list.i didnt know if that section was even clickable lol man i havent had such issues about any software before, what i know for sure considering my user experience for the last one week is , DS needs rather tons of explanatory video tutorials (cuz there are no help docs for the recent versions of daz) to do every tiny step about the installation or useage of the software or definitely should simplfy the user interface and installation progress about anything.Otherwise it seems like rocket science to the users. But again thank you for your help.
richard thank you - isearched and searched and this was the missing link!! @crowdurcrow i agree this isnt very user friendly and the tutorials for 4.9 i purchased from the daz site are horrid..
