Joint Controlled Maps

Hi
I'm trying to get detail onto a G8 figure that only occurs when a joint is bent. In this case, I'm trying to get a decent spine to show when the abdomen is bent forward to 25 degrees. The first image is the finished shape I want in Mudbox. The 2nd is the same morph reduced to the G8F base mesh. As you can see.. all the detail is lost and will never make the trip back to Daz. So this means using normals or bump maps. OK .. no problem. But I'd like for those maps to automatically be applied only when the same joint (Abdomen) is bent forward 25 degrees. Is there a way to have joint controlled maps?

That would be interesting if you could do that for sure but that means triggering a script to apply a slider to the bump/displacement map when the slider for the abdomen joint is at 25 degrees. I think other joints and morphs can be controlled but not surfaces that I've heard of so far.
I will be interested when a DAZ Studio experts say something.
