Hello everyone! Inquiring about a Game Dev license

I'm new to the daz3d community and really like what daz can do.I've spent alot of time after buying some morphs desighning some really nice characters that i eventually want to import into a game engine and script.

I can make high-res and low res poly models in z brush from scratch, i just dont see the point when you can reach the same result using daz and really think it is a powerfull tool. On the site and in the shop I've seen terms thrown around insinuiting or suggesting that daz grants permissions within their standard EULA  license agreement but cant locate anything outside of the Interactive License agreement for purchased products that grants the permission of assets like genesis for in-game use, or anything genesis is used to create which... is genesis' purpouse I'm assuming. Since the interactive agreement covers purchased products I assumed that there must be some other agreement that  the interactive agreement applies to outside the standard EULA  since the standard EULA only covers rendering and was hoping those permissions cover commercial work.

at this point I'm really more interested in creating a product rather than a work of art which really is what a work of art is anyway.

My initial question is, do end user's have the ability still to purchase additional licensing which grants and extends what they can use daz for. I have a few questions and was wondering if anyone could provide me complete and accurate information about a few things which are:

1.) where the game dev license can be purchased on the home site. I'm unable to locate it.

2.) what are the details of the EULA GAME LICENSE agreement  and what  "use's " and rights are extended and covered by the agreement .

3.) what limitations are covered within the agreement and what is the context of those limitations.

4.) are commercial products likely to be consumed by the agreement made when a license is purchased in a way that daz can wind up owning created products.

5.) what degree of indemnity is covered in the license.

I appreiciate any responses and really am hoping i can use daz to trim down my work pipeline. God bless.

I'm assuming the whole purpouse behind daz is to create a 3d platform for a useable purpouse, not for only personal use. such a program would be a waste of time and i hope its not the case with daz.

I'm really confused with daz3d's EULA.

There is no longer a game dev license as such. although those who did buy one are still covered by it.

Now there are interactive licenses which can be purchased with many (most actually) of the products in the Store.  These can be purchased either at the same time as products, or retroactively.  You will see them on all product pages where a interactive license is available.

Look below the "Add to Cart" button

    Optional License Add-Ons:
    *Interactive License $35.00
*Unless otherwise specified, no discounts or offers will apply to License Add‑Ons.
