Gen 8 Male Fitting Options Don't Exist - Cannot fit older wardrobe options to Gen 8 Male

So I'm having a rather glaring problem with the Gen 8 Base Male specifically.

Whenever I try to use an older clothing option (such as in this picture "The Classic Outfit" for the Gen 3 Male), when the autofit box appears...there's no option to select Gen 3 Male or any Male model, only to leave it "unsupported" like this.

which in turn, if I just go ahead with the autofit without selecting anything, leads to this outcome:

I DO NOT have this problem with the Gen 8 Female model. Whenever I fit older items onto it, the autofit lets me select every Daz model up to this current mode and all of the different fitting options, so I am at a loss as to why I have no choices for fitting with the Gen 8 Male. My Daz is currently up to date according to the Install Manager, so I have no idea what the problem is.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Did you install Genesis 8 Starter Essentials through DS (Connect) or did you separately install the Genesis 8 Male and Genesis 8 Female Starter Essentials through DIM? Do the base Genesis 8 Male and his content appear in Smart Content?

    Geeze, there's not a lot of point to the Install Manager anymore is there?

    Geeze, there's not a lot of point to the Install Manager anymore is there? 

    Install Manager should work - and apparently did for the female - but I have seen some oddities with the Starter Essentials (I had the female not showing for ages).
