Smart Content and DIM Errors (After Cararra 8.5 pro Install?)

Hi everyone,

I'm not sure where to begin.  (sigh)  Explaining everything step by step would be very long.

So... Does anyone have any suggestions for:

1.) DS smart content 'thinks' I need to install content that's already installed. 

2.) The DIM wants me to download "Default Resources for Daz Studio 4.9" and will crash-- presumably because the default resources have already been installed.'

Screenshots if they help.  That, or my first ticket with tech spt.  Stumped, but am very tired.

Smart content might be easily repaired via CDM?  This isn't something I want to just "guess & hope" with though.  The rest of DS works which is part of the reason can't figure out this one.

 

Example that came up first.  200 face morphs showing as needing install, but obviously not, since I'm looking right at them.

Path error?  The DIM 'thinks' I need to download a resource that appears to have already been installed.  That might explain why DIM will crash and leads to a technical error that's beyond my expertise.

The items have the circled triangle icon because they haven't been installed with Connect, but they are installed and should be opening. The only missing file I see is the Add Levels of Detail thumbnail (exclamation mark in a frame) and I don't think it has ever had one. None of your screen shots show DS complaining, if it idoes then please post the error dialogue but if nto I think everything is OK like that.

Quick question & will leave off as I know Richard is very busy as are others who are probably volunteering their time. 

1.) Is there a kind of store, or content repair script in DS 4.10?  

An error led to an option to 'update' or 'fix' a scene that wouldn't load. (1.)  One was *.DSE and the other was *.DSA

Save time in future if know file name if that's all it takes to repair Smart Content.

How Smart Content 'accidently' repaired:

Opened a scene subset --> had "Error: The File Doesn't Exist."

Absurd because looking right at it in File Manager.  

Double click "MySceneSubset.DUF" --> opened DS.

DS had different error msg with dialog box.  "Cannot find data and token (or something) Click text below for help."  Click ---> opens file menu box--> two choices: one with a DSE extension and one with a DSA.  One allowed dropping into viewport; the other did not.  Nothing happened that I could see.  Close app.

Reopen app to see if something else might work.

Smart Content and most custom saves (subsets, material settings, etc.) working again!

Be very useful to know name of that script or its location.
