genesis 8 eyes unselectable

Hi guys so i'm hoping someone can help me out here. I opened daz today and i selected a genesis 8 female model and her eyes are invisable. In the content tab the eyes are selected as invisable on loading the character. I can not secet the visible option either it seems to be locked.

I've tried relaoding all my content from backup, i've deleted and reinstalled daz. It just doesn't give me an option to make the eyes visible again. I'm hoping someone can help.

Sounds as if something is linked to the visibility control and is driving it so far down that a local override has no effect. Click the gear icon to the right of the parameter and select Parameter Settings, then look to see if there is anything in the Controllers tab - if theer is that, or one of those, is a prime suspect. Also make sure that the Locked box isn't checked.

Yeah the locked box wasn't checked. That was the first thing i looked at. I think i is linked to a fix i did for a duplicate formula error i was recieving. The content library now crashes my program when i do a file and directory scan. I believe a total wipe is might have to be completed.
