New dForce Cloth Simulation

Has anybody figured out how to use the new dforce cloth simulation. If so could you let us know how. Eveytime I try it iether explodes the clothing or crashes Daz. This is despite Daz saying it works with I quote "to maximize the compatibility of the older generation clothes, from Genesis 3, Genesis 2 or even earlier, that are not dForce supported!" Help!!!!!!! please

Lots of people have figured it out.
However, some older clothing simply cannot be salvaged because of how it was made, and because seams were not welded at the vertex level. Through various rounds of exporting and stripping it of options, you can get a given mesh to devolve into a basic single-surface and seamless prop. Then, take it into the Geometry Editor in DS and select various regions and assign new surfaces.
However, this does not always work, and you reach a point where devolving a mesh stops and you still have to weld the vertices somehow.
Alternatively, it should be possible to clamp these seams together with a transparent cylinder (shoulder seams especially) so they can't fall apart.
However, intersecting meshes will cause explosions. dForce tries to separate the intersecting pieces, but can't resolve their individuality. This is why many of the new generation of hair models can't be dForced. They use an X-pattern style of intersecting mesh construction which, while making them fuller and not so much like 2D transmapped fly strips, also means they will explode.
Thanks for your prompt reply, but I'm afraid most of that reply was a bit over my head

See if these help.

Nope, but thanks anyway, am asking for a refund then will wait a few month when I think it should have all tweeks done by then
DForce is great for some things, but there are issues; I still use VWD a lot, and in preference to Dforce. I do, however, buy quite a few of the DForce clothing items that get released; so far I've been very happy with those I've purchased.
no help at all, i do not wish to spend anymore money (no matter how little or large amount) on anymore Daz products or compatible products until i have this sorted or a refund. Tech department i hope you are reading this, yes i have put a help ticket in
@petes images
What exactly are you trying to return for refund?
dForce is part of the Studio software, it didn't cost you anything. dForce compatible clothing do not require dForce to be usable.
Dforce cloth simulation presets.
Not dForce itself|(i'm well aware of that) it's
the dForce Master - Cloth Simulation Presets itself, but having now said that I have managed to get it working, but it still does not work with Paige Dress or Taylor Dress, despite the claims made of working with older clothing that are not dForce compatible, I have contacted the Tech Department etc but still waiting for a reply. Frustrated with it is is vastly underestimated. Yes my software is upto date, graphics card is ok, followed all instructions to detail, but it still does not do what they claim
Already have this
thanks anyway

Claims of working with older clothing should not be taken to mean ALL older clothing and were never implied or stated to be so from either DAZ or PAs.
I was answering fastbikes question, but you're welcome.
sorry for the error, thanks
You can haul clothes into Hexagon and back to clean them up (weld seams), then put them back and they'll work. I tend to find that with many much older clothes (V4,M4).
As a rule of thumb, if the clothes fall apart with autofit, they probably need fixing.
