Geografting Rigged Tail on Genesis 8 - Weight Map Errors

So I've made a tail for my character and rigged it and weight-mapped it and arranged/named the bones all according to SickleYield's tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zm-QCFKowCw

But it isn't working for me. Whenever I get to the Transfer Utility step, using the same settings as in the tutorial, the Transfer Utility completely removes all the bones and weight maps from my tail figure, and winds up badly distorting the geometry. My bones are correctly oriented and named, my grafting faces are set, the vertices/faces for grafting match, both figures are using only General Weights, I've used the figure space transfer rigging to make the Hip and Pelvis bones on the tail and Genesis 8 match... but I simply cannot fit the tail to the character without completely ruining the tail. Any ideas?

  • That happens according to SickleYield. I asked her on deviantART about it. She said that it happens when you use Transfer Utility. I only asked her if there was a way around that issue today, so I don't have an answer for you.
