Ashley Hair never seems to fit

I've tried this hair: https://www.daz3d.com/ashley-hair-for-genesis-3-female-s on several different models but I can never seem to get it to fit. It always looks patchy, like there are bald spots and the hair line is way high on the forehead.

Any thoughts?
