Problems with Daz

When I load up Daz it does not show the models like everyone else has. My presets are blank, my editor is blank. I do have things in content library though. What am I doing wrong? Been trying to look it over, but i must admit this program is defiantly difficult to get up and running.

Did you load Genesis Essentials? I'm a newbie too, but many times when people post problems with the initial installation, it's due to the essentials being missing. You'd go to Product Library and look up your DAZ Studio, and it will be one of the files. Also, in the sticky, Scott-Livngston has a step by step guide on the installation so you can avoid the pitfalls. Not sure if the essentials are causing this, but it seems to be a recurring solution for many problems.

And hey, Post #1- welcome to the forums!

EDIT: I was correct. Here's the info from the sticky:
"Below, you’ll find links to installers for various plug-ins and add-ons. If you’re not sure about these, you can ignore them for now—except for Genesis Starter Essentials, which contains content you will need, as well as the Genesis figure itself."
