When I try to add the red jacket to my model it shows the jacket as white.All the clothing does.What am I doing wrong??

Probably nothing, they need the textures added to them after you load then. Can you link to the clothing set your using?

Yes, you can save a render as a jpeg or png. If you use a backdrop image (like the Fiery Genesis one, for example) and want it to show up in the render, you should save the image as jpeg. You can choose the file type in the Render Settings pane (if you don't see that pane, it's accessible by going to the Window menu>Panes (Tabs)>Render Settings).
If you're not familiar with the process of rendering, basically it's like having your computer take a snapshot of your scene so that you can save the image. The button for doing this looks like a camera. These videos will help you learn what it's all about:
