Unable to Render Hair Without Odd Shadows/Artifacts

Hi,
I have been unable to render hair properly in DAZ 4.5 with 3D Delight rendering. My shader rate is 0.10, so it should be high quality, but the renders look like hardware renders with strange shadows, artifacts and not smooth. I can render the same hair in DAZ 3.1 without any problem. Can someone tell me the settings I have to change to render hair properly? I have attached an image to show what I mean.

Thanks,
garystewart

I can look and see right off that the hair is not fitted the same in both renders. The DS4.5 version is much lower on the head than the DS3 version. What method did you use in DS4 and is it the same figure or one V4 and the Other Genesis V4 shape?

Wow! You are absolutely on the mark. I forgot I had fitted the hair differently in 4.5 but did not think an adjustment would matter. But you are correct. I did the render again leaving no adjustments and sure enough it did render properly. Thanks for the solution!
