Removed 4.10 and want to install 4.9

I removed 4.10 and want to downgrade to a previous installer of studio. I have 4.9. The installer for 4.9 goes all the way through to the end where it sort of halts at installing daz content management service.
It doesn't freeze, it just says 'installing daz content management service' and then the bar just vibrates like it is doing something... But it does not.
I'm a bit concerned. I assumed it was possible to downgrade studio.... But this experience has made me wonder.
There is a brief readme that says there is an uninstaller for daz content manager service. But I don't seem to have one. I used dim to perform the uninstall of 4.10

Not sure why that would happen, I think people have reverted to 4.9 successfully.
I’m wondering if there is some component the dim installer failed to remove of 4.10.I went back to 4.10 just fine but. 4.9 won’t install.
I have never tried to revert. Maybe you need to stop CMS before you uninstall 4.10 Try right clicking in Content Library tab and selecting Stop CMS. Maybe it would help to restart your computer after uninstalling 4.10 before installing 4.9. These are just guesses.
I didn’t stop cms but did run the dim uninstaller for 4.9.
I did reboot and also tried to put it on a different drive than 4.10 was on. Neither worked.
my concern is that if Daz should go under i want a way to use these installers since without it all this content is useless
