eliminate noise?

Hi,

How can I eliminate noise from a low light scene. My renders seem to get noise if my scene is dimly lit. Or if this has been discussed, please give me the link.

    There have been several discussions on this over the years. I guess the best thing is to just do a google search;  daz studio noise reduction (or something similar).

    Generally it's more time or more/better positioned lighting and use tone Mapping to bring the look back to where you want it. There are things you can do to speed rendering, which will help with noise reduction by allowing Iray to do more in the time.

    As recommended, I did a search for Daz noise elimination in low lighting. I tried one idea and was amazed at how much the noise was corrected. I reduced my film speed/ISO to 25, by the way my favorite Kodachrome speed when I used to shoot, and changed my aperature/fstop from 8 to 11. I would say the white speckles of noise in the original render were reduced significantly. At least by 90% or more.
