Devil May hair for G3F and G8F misbehaving

I have the Devil May Deluxe Hair for Geneis 2, 3 and 8 Female(s) and every time I apply it, it arrives offset to several inches behind the lady's head.  I'm pretty sure that's NOT the way its supposed to arrive.  :D

Any ideas what's up?  Oo

The curls are an add-on that goes at the back, so that is correct - you need to load the base hair first.
