Animals(Trouble with the Big Cats rendering)

I'm really confused as to what's going on with the lions and other cats in daz. Every time I render them, they come out in this bright high contrast render, and the mouth isn't even mapped.

None this happens with other animals I have, like the horse or wolf. Only the big cats. Am I missing some files or something, do I have to adjust some settings in the surface tab?

  • The cats come with 3Delight materials only, and the mouth uses a csutome sahder which DS can't even begin to transfer to the Iray Uber Base. I thought there was a set of Iray materials for them, but it's not showing up on a quck check of the store.

So, basically, I can only render it in 3Delight for it to look right?

  • Without making or finding a conversion to 3Delight, yes.

  • There's absolutely zero sign of it, but the figure preloads that come with this product have Iray materials. https://www.daz3d.com/real-fur-for-big-cats-2

If you don't like the hair you can delete it, and you can save the materials as presets to quickly apply to the big cat later.
