file does not exist

I downloaded and installed the newest Studio but there was a bit of a hiccup in that it did not delete the previous version. I uninstalled the newest one and did a do-over and that one worked. However Im having all sorts of content issues. Most of what I have purchased was for Poser so I was going back to dl the studio versions. Whenever I do the install manager opens a new instance of DS, even though it is already open then I get an error that the file does not exist.
I really would like to give learning DS another whirl but this has me baffled. Anyone have any insights for me?
Thanks,

Install Manager doesn't usually open DS at all. What are your exact steps?
Thanks for the reply. I think I am confused as to what does what. Just now I opened the install manager clicked on the first thing for DS I saw and it went through the steps of installing. My problem comes when I go to the Product Library page of my account and click on something for DS (the download and install button). It opens DS and gives me the file does not exist error. If I try with another product, it opens another DS instance and gives me the same error.
It should open Install Manager, not Daz Studio. It's possible that you hae an error in the file association - which browser are you using?
I'm using Firefox. I also have no content in my content library tab.. maybe it has something to do with that. I've attached a screen cap of the content manager. I assume most of the settings are from a previous DS
In Firefox open Tools>options, scroll down to Applications, and make sure that daz3dim iss et to use daz3dim, not Daz Studio.
