Importing Figures to Unity (Decimating and Atlas help?)

I don't expect anyone to give me a word for word guide on how to export a figure, with decimated polys and then apply an atlas texure to the figure in unity, but thats what I want to do.
I was wondering if anyone knew of any seperate guides on these indiviual things? (Obviously a more complete tutorial is best) and if the DAZ3d decimate plugin was avalible anywhere?
I looked around, just struggling a bit. Thanks in advance if anyone helps!
